ROI for a Health & Fitness brand

Evo Health Club engaged CRE8IVE to reposition their brand as Canberra’s leading health & fitness facility. They believe a gym is a tool to inspire and prepare you for peak performance throughout your life.

Evo positioned themselves in the market with the latest equipment, excellent facilities and an intelligent and personal approach to fitness. Evo required a new brand that actively demonstrated the elite level of their offering and increased membership enquiries and retention.

Within 6 months of launching the new brand and website, there was a 15% increase in sales and enquiries compared to the same time the previous year.




CRE8IVE worked closely with the EVO team to develop a brand identity that captured their life-affirming approach to fitness. The new brand had to be striking, powerful and sophisticated. With a new selection of colours, we created a Wordmark that was elegant, legible, and understated.

Brand development

For the gym, we developed the Loop icon, based on the infinity symbol to signify constant evolution and growth.

A photoshoot was conducted to convey the brand message of strength, determination and stamina. Members were used to show an authentic brand experience and were photographed utilising the technology available and showcasing the modern facilities.

Their new website is highly interactive, to align with EVO’s efficient and engaging personality. It was structured to reflect our research on how the users would engage with it.

User centred approach

From the beginning, we knew the site needed to work like an app so we designed it specifically to be responsive to touch gestures. The hero page took users directly to the memberships section where they would use it most. The site works both as an informative site for visitors and an administration platform for staff.
